Golf in Spain
Our Spanish Golf Holiday Regions
Cadiz Province - Golf Holidays in Chiclana, Jerez, Montecastillo & Puerto de Santa Maria. Being the neighbour of the Costa del Sol seems to have roused the ‘powers that be’ here to fully appreciate just how much golf holiday potential they have so much so that Cadiz is now great region for golf holidays.
Costa del Sol - Spanish Golf Holidays based in Benalmadena, Estepona, Funegirola, Marbella, Mijas, Puerto Banus & San Pedro with an almost unlimited choice of golf. Here is a Spanish golf holiday region that needs little introduction.
Costa Blanca - Golf Holidays in Benidorm, Mojacar & Playas de Orihuela. The many fine golf courses on the ‘White Coast’ along with the tranquil waters of the Mediterranean Sea, are part of this Spanish golf holiday appeal.
Polaris World - Located near Murcia on the Costa Blanca, when it comes to choosing a golf holiday in Spain, take our word for it, Polaris World is much, much more than a collection of residential properties adjoining a few golf courses. The golf here is first class and the nightlife is terrific.
La Manga - One of the world’s great golf and leisure resorts, La Manga Club resort near Murcia in Southern Spain is a consistent winner in the European resort category of the prestigious World Travel Award.
Mallorca - The island has quickly grown into one of the best and fastest growing golf holiday regions in Spain. Mallorca hosts a good number of excellent golf courses that will both fascinate and confound the very best golfers amongst us.
Costa Brava - Here are Golf Holidays staying in Girona, Pals & Platja d'Aro - somewhere one is spoiled for choice for things to do after playing golf. There is easy access to the golf courses making this fabulous region for a golf break in Spain.
Costa de la Luz - A Spanish golf region bordering the Portuguese Algarve, it is a unique and beautiful area of Spain. Costa de la Luz is largely untouched and has so far been spared the mass tourism that some other coasts of Spain have experienced.

There's an old horse racing adage that states 'an ounce of breeding is worth a pound of feeding' implying that thoroughbreds are born, not made. Pedigree can’t be created it can only be refined; and so it is with golf. The better golf courses, the very best golf holes are born from a fusion of natural forces together with a favourable climate and honed by the subtle hand of an expert designer. With this in mind, welcome to Golf Holidays in Spain.
Here is somewhere that boasts a strong golf tourism heritage and as such is frequented by the game's enthusiasts from around the world simply because it has pedigree; an array of golf holiday regions, excellent accommodation and a range of outstanding golf courses that test the abilities of golfers of all standards. At the time of writing, more than 80 Andalucian golf courses are in play, mainly located on the Costa del Sol with yet more in the planning and construction stages.
However, our praise of Andalucia or southern Spain is not to overlook other golf holiday regions in Spain and in particular the golf around Girona on the north-eastern coastline that is the Costa Brava (Catalonia) Not immediately celebrated for its golf, this lack of status is now changing. Gone is its reputation for being the part of Spain that golfers should bypass. The Costa Brava has definitely got its golf tourism act together and is happily exploiting the advantages it enjoys over its southern neighbours.
Thus Spain is a land of contrasts, of steep cliffs, mountains, rolling foothills, desert terrain and flat salt marches that has had golf writers waxing lyrical ever since the first golf course opened here. Other countries may be equally pleasing to the eye but the unbeatable commodity that Spain has to offer is climate: arguably the best in Europe for golf holidays outside the peak July and August summer months. We believe (and are only occasionally forced to eat our words) that southern Spain has 300 days of sunshine a year. However, in the those aforementioned peak summer months, the northern regions come into their own.
Golf in Spain seems to win whichever way you look at it.
