Golf Vila Sol, A Donald Steel design, welcomes you with a long, 416 yard, par four followed by their longest par four at 445 yds. Fortunately it eases off thereafter allowing decent scores to be carded. Golf Vila Sol opened in 1991 and hosted the Portuguese Golf Open for the next two years. Vila Sol is relatively flat with lots of pine and almond trees as well as some water and is in superb condition winning awards for its environmental management There are now 27 holes but it makes little difference how they are combined.
