Penina Golf, Henry Cotton's "finest" is the oldest golf course in the Algarve and has hosted the Portuguese Golf Open on numerous occasions. It is a magnificent golf course characterised by only one par five on the front nine but no less than four coming home. Tight fairways will always pose a threat and the water to the right of the the 13th can ruin a hitherto promising card. Definitely one for the connoisseur.
